Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment for Admin & Library Facade Replacement
The Facilities department presented a Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment with Forge Contractors, LLC. This amendment (516/2024) pertained to the facade replacement for the administration and library buildings, ensuring project costs remained within the agreed budget. The commissioners unanimously approved the amendment.
Compensation Increase for Executive County Officers
A hearing was held, pursuant to Utah code 17-16-14, to consider and approve a planned compensation increase (0.5% or 1%) for Executive County Officers participating in URS Tier I or Tier II retirement systems (525/2024). The commissioners unanimously approved the compensation increase.
Ratification of Contract Amendment with Applicant Pro
Human Resources sought ratification of an amendment to contract #2022-169 with Applicant Pro. This amendment added the “Wedge” video interviewing feature, enhancing the county’s hiring process (508/2024). The commissioners unanimously ratified the amendment.

This certification ensured continued funding for internet services (524/2024). The commissioners unanimously approved the certification.
Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment for EOC Project
The Sheriff’s Office sought ratification of a Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment for contract #18/2024 with Hogan & Associates Construction, Inc. This amendment related to the Davis County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Project (528/2024). The commissioners unanimously ratified the amendment.
Special Inspection Services Contract for EOC
The commissioners also unanimously approved the standard professional services contract between Davis County and Utah Testing & Engineering, LLC for special inspection services for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
